D ‘Anthony Willie Ravenell is from Charlotte and currently resides in Elizabeth City. He will graduate with a B.S. in Aviation Science from Elizabeth City State University (ESCU) in May of 2021. D ’Anthony has completed a variety of aviation courses and currently holds a 3.0 GPA. He has earned his private pilot license and is currently working towards his instrument rating. Ultimately, he hopes to fly the skies as a commercial airline pilot. D’ Anthony is a tutor with the ECSU Viking VESTEMic Program and also works as a campus Resident Assistant. In 2018 he completed a study-abroad program in Eastern Europe (Budapest, Krakow, Prague, Slovakia, Vienna). In addition to flying he enjoys boardgames, traveling and sports including baseball, basketball and football.
