‘Airports Leading the Way,’ NCAA Annual Conference Held in Pinehurst

Beautiful inside and out is an apt description of the conference venue and accommodations at the Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa in Ashville, North Carolina for the 2024 Annual NCAA Conference.  The conference, themed “Challenge Accepted” broke all previous attendance records with 535 attendees, 52 exhibitors and 57 sponsors. The conference committee, led by John Coon, Vice President Operations and Maintenance at the Ashville Regional Airport, NCAA Vice President and incoming President put on another high qualify annual conference with timely, appropriate and interesting topics and speakers.

INTRODUCTION

The North Carolina Airports Association holds a conference each year, hosted by cities throughout the state. The conference includes a lively Golf Tournament, the ever-popular Opening Reception and two full days of informative sessions, discussion groups and professional exhibitors. The conference is attended by airport commissioners, executives and staff, as well as professionals serving the industry through engineering, consulting, products and more. Each year’s conference is supported by sponsors, exhibitors and advertisers and each of these contributors have an opportunity to present themselves to the Association through various events and exhibits. The 2025 NCAA Annual Conference will be held on the beautiful coast of Wilmington, North Carolina at the Wilmington Convention Center on April 8th-10th, 2025. Golf will be on Tuesday with the opening reception Tuesday evening!

  • Embassy Suites reservations requires a credit card deposit which will be charged to your card. If you wish to cancel, please do so 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid cancellation penalties.
  • The NCAA Reservation Cutoff Date is Friday, March 1, 2025.  Reservations received after this date or after the block is filled are subject to prevailing rates and availability.
  • Accessible and Pet rooms have limited availability; $75.00 non-refundable fee, $75(1-4n), $125(5+n). 2 pets Max, dog/cat only.
  • Current overnight parking charges for in-house guests are as follows (subject to change): $22.00 per day for outside self-parking or garage parking, and $30.00 per day for valet parking. Separate parking charges will apply for day guests.
  • Smoking; A fee of up to 250 USD will be assessed for smoking in a non-smoking room. Please ask the Front Desk for locations of designated outdoor smoking areas.
