‘Airports Leading the Way,’ NCAA Annual Conference Held in Pinehurst

   The beautiful Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, NC was the venue of the 2023 annual North Carolina Airports Association (NCAA) Conference.
   The sold-out event with 473 delegates, 41 exhibitors, and 56 sponsors was themed “Airports – Leading the Way in Economic Development”. The conference committee, led by Conference Chair Edwin (Eddie) H. Madden, Jr., Columbus County Manager and NCAA Vice President, did an excellent job of providing a variety of interesting, appropriate, and timely topics and speakers to fill two informative and interactive days.

The North Carolina Airports Association holds a conference each year, hosted by cities throughout the state. The conference includes a lively Golf Tournament, the ever-popular Opening Reception and two full days of informative sessions, discussion groups and professional exhibitors. The conference is attended by airport commissioners, executives and staff, as well as professionals serving the industry through engineering, consulting, products and more. 2024 Conference Hotel Options

Omni Grove Park Inn – Asheville, NC

  • Conference attendees can access room reservations via online booking using the following weblink:
  • Reservations are also available by telephone through the Central Reservations Office at 800-438-5800.
  • The Grove Park Inn’s cancellation policy is 7 days prior to the arrival date. The deposit will be forfeited if reservations are canceled less than 7 days prior to arrival.
  • The NCAA Reservation Cutoff Date is Friday, March 1, 2024.  Reservations received after this date or after the block is filled are subject to prevailing rates and availability.
  • Accessible and Pet rooms have limited availability; please submit these requests as early as possible. There is an additional charge of $250 for reserving a pet friendly room.
  • There is a One Night Room & Tax Early Departure Fee for rooms checking out prior to the departure date.
  • The daily resort charge is $35.00 per night.
  • Current overnight parking charges for in-house guests are as follows (subject to change): $25.00 per day for outside self-parking or garage parking, and $35.00 per day for valet parking. Separate parking charges will apply for day guests.
