Airports Overview

The map above shows the public airports located in North Carolina. To use the map, click on any airport to see the website or other information about that facility.

There are 72 publicly owned and publicly operated airports in the North Carolina Statewide Aviation System. Of these 72 airports, 10 are air carrier airports (blue markers) providing service to commercial or regularly scheduled airlines in addition to serving the interest of general aviation. The remaining 62 are General Aviation facilities (red markers) that service private and corporate aviation.
