The mission of the NC Airports Association is to promote aviation and airport management in North Carolina through networking and professional development opportunities. The NCAA also administers an aviation scholarship program.
The NC Airports Association is a not-for-profit organization consisting of Executive, Professional, Affiliate and Honorary members. Currently, there are 72 publicly owned and publicly operated airports in the NC Statewide Aviation System. Of these 72 airports, 11 are air carrier airports providing service to commercial or regularly scheduled airlines in addition to serving the interest of general aviation. The remaining 61 are General Aviation facilities that service private and corporate aviation. The goal of the association is to assist in providing the finest airports and service available anywhere.
